Vents

To use vents, you need a role that has the ability to vent:

• All Impostor roles: Impostor, Camouflager, Miner, Morphling, Phantom
• Engineer

How to Vent

Stand next to a vent — one of your ability items will change from a barrier to a tripwire hook. Right-click it to enter the vent.

Nearest Vent

The nearest vent will be outlined in red, visible even through blocks.

While vented, red glowing blocks will appear at all connected vents, visible even through blocks. To switch to a different vent, look at one of the red glowing blocks and left-click it.

Yellow Means Ready

When looking at a red glowing block, it will turn yellow to indicate that you can vent to it.

Client-Server Delay

Due to the delay between client and server, the red glowing blocks may not turn yellow immediately when you look at them. However, left-clicking will still work correctly, as the client sends the player’s precise rotation on click.

To exit the vent, right-click the vent item again.

Vent Item Only

Only the vent item works while venting. Clicking any other item will have no effect. Additionally, most abilities cannot be used while vented.

Miner Vents

You can also access vents created by the Miner.
