Sabotage
Currently there are 3 sabotages:
- Seismic Stabilizer
- Lights
- Communication
Seismic Stabilizer
Section titled “Seismic Stabilizer”This is the only critical sabotage currently in the game.
For it to work, two location sets must be configured.
There are 4 locations in total:
- seismicStabilizers1: The location of the first button used to fix the sabotage.
- seismicStabilizers2: The location of the second button used to fix the sabotage.
- seismicStabilizers1Particle: Optional — if set, this location is used instead of
seismicStabilizers1to shoot a beam into the sky. - seismicStabilizers2Particle: Optional — if set, this location is used instead of
seismicStabilizers2to shoot a beam into the sky.
The beam color corresponds to the state of its button:
- Green: The button is pressed.
- Red: The button is not pressed.
To fix the sabotage, both buttons must be pressed simultaneously.
The crewmates have 60 seconds to fix the sabotage.
Lights
Section titled “Lights”When lights are sabotaged, all crewmates receive the blindness effect, limiting their vision and removing their ability to sprint.
Impostors are not affected by this sabotage, meaning they can still sprint — which may expose them to observant crewmates.
To fix the sabotage, all registered levers must be switched to green.
Levers will glow when the player is within the area defined by lightPosMin and lightPosMax.
Communication
Section titled “Communication”When communication is sabotaged, crewmates can no longer see their tasks in the scoreboard or the locator bar. They can, however, still complete tasks.
To fix the sabotage, a player must click the communication block and then locate the satellite by looking up into the sky. The action bar displays a signal strength indicator — the stronger the signal, the closer the crosshair is to the satellite. The player must aim directly at the satellite and hold their crosshair steady for a few seconds to lock the signal and restore communications.
Bossbar
Section titled “Bossbar”When a sabotage is active, a bossbar will appear showing the current status. The information displayed depends on the sabotage type:
- Seismic Stabilizer: A countdown timer starting from 60 seconds.
- Lights: The number of levers currently switched to green.
- Communication: The strongest signal reading among all players.
Meeting
Section titled “Meeting”While a sabotage is active, the meeting button is disabled. However, a meeting can still be triggered by reporting a dead body.
Reporting a body during an active sabotage will immediately resolve any critical sabotages. Non-critical sabotages are paused for the duration of the meeting and resume once it ends.
